First, from thinking about tacky song lyrics, does anyone know if Adam and Eve were supposed to be particularly specially in love, or just were created at the first people, and things followed naturally from there?

But as for my life: I had to dubious pleasure (read, misery) of being the tool of my parents' fight this afternoon. Mom was upset with Dad because he wouldn't go to shul with her next week and do kiddush in shul (they got invited to do candle-lighting and kiddush, which is given out to married couples, usually the parents of hte next day's bar/bat mitsvah if there is one), which spread to why he wouldn't go to synagogue in general. And from there, she decided to use as an issue that if they weren't religiously observant in some way, it would injure their relationship with me. And she didn't stop there, she took it to "if we're not observant in some way, maybe Maya will someday refuse to bring her children here for holidays". Eep. Arguing about things with that many hypotheticals just isn't bright. And it bothered me too, because I would try my best not to let that get in the way. Heck, I really want to live near my parents someday so that my children (G-d willing) can have the benefit of having grandparents close by, like I did, which I really think I benefitted from. I value damily a lot, even if they make me nuts sometimes (like today).
