Nothing too exciting today, unless you count my braving Usdan. Yes, I'm a sophomore, and this is the first time I've actually eaten in the other of campus' grand total of 2 actual dining halls. Eh- it works on one system, and I have the other system of paying for meals, so it's usually a pain, but well, it's open later, so that's useful. But in any case, when one is used to one thing, and all of a sudden are dealing with something else- it's somehow somewhat intimidating. (And I really need to cut down on the amount of modifiers that I use.)

Tomorrow's a fast day, so Amanda is staying in my other bed, so that we can get up and snack before sunrise, and thus have some amount of sustenance, and not annoy her roommates beyond belief. (Note to self: find roommate/suitemates for next year who don't mind me keeping really bonkers hours.) So my schedule for tomorrow: wake up: 4:30, eat until 4:50. GO back to sleep until about 7, get ready for the day, go to minyan. Return to room, probably return to sleep until just before class at 11. Have class, and other class, and get some hopefully significant amount of work done. Eat dinner, rehearse, do work.

I finally found out what part of Megillat Estair (no matter how I transliterate that, it looks wrong) I'm reading and started working on it. The trope for Esther is really gorgeous- or at least it's striking me that way right now. I may not be good at it yet, but I really like it. I shouldn't mind the work that's involved in learning it, especially considering that I don't know the trope well, and therefore it takes longer to learn than say, an equal length of Humash, where I know the trope pretty darn solidly at this point. So hopefully I'll learn it all in time, and things will go well.

My room is really and truly a disaster at the moment. Oh well, maybe I'll clean tomorrow while I'm not eating lunch. Or more likely, I'll work on my megillah reading, or review my lines for rehearsal.
