Phone Tag

So I've definitely been playing phone/email tag with the lady from this internship in DC... She was supposed to call yesterday, and didn't, so I emailed her, she said that she'd call today, but if she didn't, I should call her. SO I did, about half an hour before she said she was leaving for a meeting. She asked if she could call back about 20 minutes later. I said of course. She didn't call- I emailed her about 25 minutes after that. She got back to me a bit over an hour later, saying she'd just gotten back from teh meeting, and that I was seeing how busy things were there. I offered to just call tomorrow, she said fine, how about 10am? I'm hoping I actually get to get htis done with, so I don't keep getting nervous about it, and then not getting to have it done. I'm not a huge fan of telephones- they do make me nervous, especially at the start of any call.

BORG meeting was fun but very, very off topic and kind of loud- we couldn't quite tell if this year or last year's high council was in charge, since we were planning for next year and it was our last official meeting- it was just kind of weird. But it was fun, there was good turnout, and if not so much got done, we all got a bit of finals week excess emotive energy out.

Internship

So, I just got offered an internship in DC, except that it's unpaid. And I'd need to find housing, pay for transit and food, etc. It's 30 hours a week, M-Th, and I guess I'd have to find another job that actually pays alongside that. It isn't exactly what I'm interested in, but it's with a Judaica museum, even if it seems to involve mostly fundraising and stuff like that for major projects. And if I don't take it, I don't know if I'd have any chance of finding something better. I don't know- the lack of money is sort of an issue. I'll have to talk to the parents about it. At least I know a few folks in that area now. The lady also didn't tell me when it was for- how long, starting when. I should email her about that. The idea is appealing, but it's also making me kind of nervous, now that I have the chance at it. Eep.
