So, last night I went with Talia,
shorr and another girl whom I hadn't met before to MIT's International folk dance session. It was remarkably friendly, and the dances (given that we only stayed for the first two hours, it's likely that there was harder repetoire coming up soon, if it's structured anything like most Israeli dance sessions.) were remarkably easy- probably because they were actual folkdances, unlike Israeli, which just isn't. But, while I wouldn't want it to be an every week activity after a short while (I think I'd get bored after a bit, unless there kept being lots of new material to learn), it was a nice experience, and the sort of thing I wouldn't mind doing semi-regularly, if I had the time/transportation. But there are a lot of thigns like that. Afterwards, Talia and I dropped the other folks back off on campus, and went on a quest to find Friendlies' or someplace similar. We found Friendlies- it was closed, although it was supposed to be open until Midnight, for some sort of kitchen work. So we hit Dunkin' Donuts- they closed at 11, it was 11:03. For our third stop on our adventure, we went to the other Dunkin' DOnuts, and got cold sweet liquid things. 'Twas fun, although we got outselves very cold (and we knew it in advance too. Go figure- guess we're pretty silly.) It was a nice evening.
