I was up in the attic looking for my bag of computer and financial stuff (which I've yet to find, and I truly do need to find for Marvin and for a new thing of checks/cheques), and I came across a decrepit album of photos (maybe my grandma's?) from my parents' wedding. They're cute pictures- mostly copies of the ones I've seen in the regular photo albums, but also a few other ones. From the pictures, it seems to have worked on a different ethic from the weddings I've been to- no fancy hairdos, no tuxedos, no gowns- nice clothes, and Mom had a nice white dress, calf-length, not a real lot of people. It's sort of fun and funny both to contrast. Very cute. I guess it's that principle that as long as the people are happy, the trimmings don't matter so much. A good thing to remember for whatever event one is planning- large or small.
