I'm not sure what happened to today. This morning was spent being long-distance social, aka on the computer. Had lunch, talked to teh folks at Hillel about running recreational Israeli Dance on campus, which will be on Tuesday nights at 7:30 for somewhere around an hour or an hour and a half. THey're excited, I'm excited, Matt is, of course, excited, and if you're at Brandeis, your presence is requested this or any Tuesday at 7:30. Went and alphabetized the BORG library, or at least the inner sanctum section of it, with much lovely and unexpected help and amusement. Thanks go to [livejournal.com profile] belu for the amusement, and [livejournal.com profile] tovaks, [livejournal.com profile] randumari and other steves unidentifiable on LJ for the help. Then a Walgreens run (where I got several things I needed and several more that I didn't. Speaking of which- what's the usual wattage for a lamp, 75 or 100 watts?), a snack and several phone calls, and then the T with Matt to MIT where I met [livejournal.com profile] tirerim, whom I hadn't seen in about 2 years for dinner, once we found somewhere to have it. You'd think there'd be more restaurants in downtown Cambridge, but apparently we had the wrong part of it. And then dancing at MIT to which [livejournal.com profile] tirerim ended up coming along too (and did quite a good job for someone who hadn't been exposed to Moshiko before, and had had only very limitted exposure to Israeli dance at all). It was Moshiko night (with said worthy's presence and teaching: man, that gentleman can't teach: "1 2 3 4" doesn't actually tell me anything at all. But his accent is good, and he makes random small talk in the midst of teaching along with his corrections. Much better than the usual random excess flirtation. But still amusing- especially when he stopped in the midst of teaching to ask my friend who is Very visibly pregnant (she's due quite soon, G-d willing) if they'd picked a name for the baby yet.

Tomorrow, minyan and class. Now, shower and sleep. I like parallel structures, but it's hard to remember to punctuate them appropriately.
