Over the course of Friday night, I lost my voice. Luckily, Shabbat is a reasonable time to be quiet, overall, but it meant I didn't get to do the Torah reading I'd worked on preparing (luckily someone else could pick it up Really quickly and did, and did an impressive job at it too), and in general was just particularly frustrated with my ability to communicate anywhere where whispering wouldn't do. So I've had a bunch of tea this evening, and lots of liquids in general, and the last bits of soup from a while ago, and I'm off to bed. But I'm impatient- I want my body to get over this nonsense now. For some things I'm patient, but the lack of ability to talk much, or over a whisper in volume is just frustrating. Phooey.
