Very Random

My pens are colonizing my floor. Or at least they're trying to. They end up everywhere, and I have no idea how. Either that, or they're trying to sneak away from me- a little too slowly.

And azpuchaz deserves more praise: along with my Khannukah gifts, she sent me stuff to give to other people as I saw fit, and some of it is just screaming certain people's names, joyful that it is about to find a home. On the other hand, I'm still trying to figure out who would be best suited to receiving a single wooden candlestick. If it is you, I trust you will have fun with it. But if it's you, the candlestick hasn't learned your name yet... (And she sent me bubbletape too, admittedly as wrapping for something else. My mother knows what finals are like...)

Had a surprise conversation with a friend I hadn't gotten to really talk to in a while, last night. Sure, I should have been working on my layning, but I got some of that done anyways, and I had a really nice conversation. It was a nice surprise, even after a nice conversation with a much more local friend (hard to get too much more local than inside one's own building).

Other than that, earlier yesterday zodiacmg and I went to the last night of my ballroom dance class. Only 2 other people stayed past filling out evaluations, and the teacher ended up having us demonstrate for the other two a few times, and stealing me to demonstrate on occasion as well. It was very flattering for my ego, as I've learned to associate being asked to demo as a real compliment (as long as you aren't getting asked because you're sleeping with the teacher, but that's just the slimy side of IFD camp politics).
