I got a response to my response paper talking about how an article we read made the Akhnai's Oven story, and its prominence in one-time-text-study lectures/shiurim/classes make some sense. My professor's response was that he was glad it had helped the story make emotional sense to me- and that he'd let the author know. Once again, can I remark that this world is really surprisingly small, and that this semester has been making that Very, Very clear?

Since when did I start calling non-jeans type pants slacks? I used to insist that that was a word that only my grandmother used. ANd somewhere in hte last year to year and a half, I started calling them slacks. I'm very confused. It isn't like my friends use that word, I don't think (unless someone cares to correct me).
