RIP Aloe Plant

WOke up this morning, looked again at my aloe plant (a gift from my folks, who gave it to me after the Boston Festival this year), and while it has been rather sickly since I got back from Pesakh, it was now entirely flattened, basically. And then I looked at it more closely, and all teh leaves seem to be separated from the center. I have a very strong feeling that this is a Dead aloe plant. So belu I think you may be freed from your agreement to probably be able to plant-sit over the summer. Poor plant.

Today was rainy, and I managed to keep myself up (and have a nice conversation with tovah623 in the process: there's a silver lining to every cloud) instead of taking most of my Shabbos nap, but over all, it was a nice Shabbos. I was just in a really good place for davening this morning: not the best I've ever been in, but pretty good- which was really needed: otherwise I'd have just gotten stressed by the too-fast-for-me Pesukei D'ZImra (first section of the service: mostly Psalms).
