Summary of the last few days

Sunday I did some essay editting, and hung out with my hostess, and then with another friend from Brandeis as well in the afternoon. Then I spent the evening in Cambridge visiting yet another friend from Brandeis- we had dinner at her apartment and then walked around Harvard Square, and then I went back to Waltham and stayed up too late while not getting enough done on my editting.

So this morning I got up far too late, figured out my plans for the day, and visited a friend originally from Brandeis in Newton for lunch and the afternoon, and then a friend from dancing and her family for the late afternoon and dinner. I had a great time with both sets of folks, and seeing the latter friend's kids was pretty great: the older one is getting more and more comfortable interacting with me, and the littler one is talking up a storm now.

And tonight was dancing, and I saw a slew of people and in general had a nice time and felt welcomed back. And I had some interesting conversations on the topic of my breakup- I got a couple of "and you always looked like the perfect couple" and a "so did you issue him an ultimatum?" and other interesting comments.

Tomorrow: trip home and final editting and then the application gets sent in and I wait...
