THis is a public journal, not a blog. I write, and I hope that you folks read it, but I'm not writing "for you", I'm writing for myself and for you. It isn't about putting up nice polished prose with lots of links. It's about expressing myself and figuring out what I'm thinking, and interacting with y'all about it. Note that I also didn't link to Elf's post, which was also really interesting and relevant.
