Wool Socks

An actual dull report of weekend activities and my thoughts thereon will, I'm sure, happen tomorrow or Monday, but in the meantime- wool socks are wonderful. They're warm, And you can get your feet wet in them and not freeze your feet off. I walked into a slush-puddle this evening walking home from nuqotw's after shabbos, and my foot didn't freeze, or even go numb. This is proof, for me at least, that wool socks really are worthwhile. In some cases, very, very worthwhile. From now on, whenever I can get them for reasonable prices, I probably ought to.

Have you had SmartWool socks at all? They're like twelve dollars a pair, but man are they ever worth it. And soft.

I do have a pair I think- in any case, I have a pair of really comfortable wool socks that are generally exciting and very warm. (I also have a pair of plain wool socks, which are the ones I was praising last night.) Very worth it.
