This is what warm pants and jackets are for. Cold-weather biking isn't easy, but it's definitely possible -- check out Icebike (http://users.rcn.com/icebike/). The biggest problem that I find is my hands -- I can't find gloves that will keep them warm, so my plan is to construct a pair of pogies, basically giant mittens that go over the handlebars.

I also have no current plans to learn to drive. Of course, if you don't mind it, it's still a useful thing to have; I just really detest driving.
