Tonight was my evening for hard to explain conversations or something. I had a fun conversation with Steve that probably made no sense to anyone else, and we tried at one point to explain the whole "Steve" concept/joke to one of his friends, who was totally mystified by it. And on my walk home I ran into

seliginegypt, and then one of my hallmates, and helped the latter bring a bunch of his stuff up to his room. It sounds very, very prosaic, but somehow it didn't seem so...
