Reminder to self: THick headbands and tfillin do not go well together. Next time, put the headband on After finishing davening.

Further note from myself: do not stand too close to the wall in front of you during the Silent Devotion, as bowing may become a real headache.

A friendly and hopefully amusing reminder from the land of Personal Experience.

Huzzah!

I've seen people do ponytails and put that through the strap of the tfillah shel rosh. Myself, I usually jsut swing my hair half to each side, but it seems to work for them. I'd guess that buns magically located in between a headcovering (if you wear one) and the strap of the tfillah should work too... At some point I want to try with the snood.

Black leather and duct tape are a classic combination.....

Folded duct tape just Can't tie so well. Not a great headband choice. Or ponytail-holder.

Unless someone can tell me otherwise...
