Checking on something stupid

A while ago, in a round of hypothetical question asking, someone asked me soemthing about a guy with antlers. I laughed a bit, because I at one point ran across a saying of some sort about "making [a man] wear antlers", and I think I remember what it meant. But to check- has anyone heard this one before? ANyone want to define it? Just to see if I'm on the right track or not.

Well, making a man wear (or have) horns means to cuckold him, but I don't think I've ever heard antlers before.

That's what I'd heard with antlers. So maybe it was someone or a series of someones having fun with the expression, or something like that. THanks!
