20 Things I Really, Really Enjoy
1. Dancing, mostly Israeli "Folk" Dance, other things with good partners/company
2. Playing with Jewish ideas and trivia, and about Jewish behaviors
3. Learning Jewish texts (this is indeed subtly different from the above)
4. Cooking/baking, although more so with pleasant company
5. Spending casual time with friends
6. Spending time with family when we're in the appropriate moods
6b. Random conversations about interesting things, ok, usually with friends or family, so it might be a subcase of 5 or 6
7. Sleeping
8. Reading good books, or fun books depending on my mood. Or even better, good fun books.
9. Walks, especially with good company, sometimes on my own
10. Looking at moving natural bodies of water or sizable bodies of water
11. sewing/playing with beads and string
12. visiting folks I don't see so often, including the playing with public transit, sometimes- or at least I find spending long periods of time on trains soothing and fairly comfortable
13. surrealist humor or very short jokes that I can actually remember all of, and not having my sister tell me that my jokes aren't worth telling after I've told them
14. being pleasantly eccentric
15. being silly at random convenience stores
16. being up at weird times of the day, or times of the day that are weird in combination (aka, going to bed late and getting up early for minyan- as long as I get a nap in the afternoon)
17. BORG meetings
18. some parts of gardening- especially watering and harvesting, but weeding is sometimes nice too
19. doing little things that make the people I care about happy, even when they're things I normally dislike
20. spending time fussing with the computer
Now if only I could be as clever as
agru and find a fun, clean (or at least clean-ish) way to include vasodilation in here... That was worth it.
