So, Nomi withdrew from elections, is going to help me out, and has been dubbed the "Lord High Everything Else" (making Pilot, her boyfriend, the Lady High Everything Else, I suppose). So- I feel a tad bad, but well, I'm also happy: I like taking care of books, I like being on high council, and well, all seems well. I like the rest of hte high council, and it'll be fun, I hope.
So, it having been APril Fool's Day, I was expecting to see pranks. And I'd just about decided that it must not be, or no one was paying attention or everyone was lazy or uninterested like me, when I came back from class to find a note on my door from Michi, with the text "Help! I'm dying! And I just killed something small and squishy!"- so I figured that she wanted some attention or company or something, and went on an expedition and found her room. So I found her and one of her roommates, and we hung out for a while... Once again, it was a nice change of pace, although since I was entirely exhausted, that may have affected my perceptions. I got far too little sleep last night... Oh well. Life goes on, to quote my old phrase that by now annoys the heck out of certain old friends- or at least it did, don't know if it still does: probably.
Tonight I went into Cambridge with Dave and some of his friends: Simon, Mira and a friend of Mira's Ariella, whom I met a few times last year. I was somewhat nervous about it- I saw Simon and Mira at BORG last year plenty, and we never really talked much- or at all, in the case of Simon and I, I think. But I had a very nice time. I was afraid I wouldn't have what to say or I wouldn't fit in- but it wasn't a problem- the only problem was the rain, and us all being rather wet and cold.
