Tomorrow are BORG elections. And I'm bot hactually running against someone (that just Isn't supposed to happen), and it's Nomi, who's not only a friend but someone the BORG is extremely fond of. Now, she and I wouldn't mind being a two-headed Librarian (would make me feel a bit like Pratchett's Librarian in The Last Continent- which could be fun: Ook!), but that might set an odd precident for the club- and for the other positions, although a host of librarians works better than a host of heralds or scribes, or rulers of 5-sided-objects. And well- there have to be Some non-high-council-members. That was my job last year, which I often held down alone, but now we've got more folks. I don't know. I'm nervous about the whole thing. ANd I'm paranoid that since she did a fabulous job as director, and I did a decent but not spectacular job as Herald (I'm thinking that something as loud as a publicity coordinator was not my best move ever, although it's certainly been fun), that that might affect things. I don't know. (I'm overusing that phrase. My apologies.)

Why do I care so much about being on High Council? Well, I suppose because if I don't get elected, it's like I've failed, in a sense- I did it once, and didn't get chosen again- I must have done poorly. Also because I invest a lot of energy in BORG, enjoy that a lot, and want to keep doing so.

OK, off to bed, to attempt not to fret. Maybe I'll get my errands done tomorrow, or at least started.
