Mowing the lawn is much, much better with music. Technically I did more htan last time I mowed the lawn, since last time Mom helped me, and hte grass was shorter, but this didn't seem quite as bad and overtiring. And I only got one blister, versus 3 the first time this summer.
Overall, today was pretty quiet- it was nice to have the time to myself. It went faster than I expected, but that always happens. I wonder if maybe I should spend one of those weekends when the parents will be gone on my own, and maybe just have Will or Teresa over for dinner, or something like that. We'll see when I get there.
I ran across a poem I wrote last year and thought was one of my better ones. I don't think I've written much better since- but I'm nowhere near as pleased with it now as I was then. Still, it's up on my website with a few minor alterations. I should go through my poetry from this year to see if there's anythign I still like- it's been about long enough to have some sort of perspective on it. Or at least some...
