Going to work and having a houseguest at the same time really does eat one's time. It's worthwhile, but it's a complete time-eater. Last night I was certainly far more exhausted than I usually am during the summer- but I've been up a tad later than usual, and then missed my rather frequent pre-dinner nap.

That said, being even a bit tired when I'm addressing envelopes for over an hour puts me in a very tired-feeling but efficient trace-like state. And there are more to do... Well, we'll see what today holds in store.

INterestingly, having more company at home seems to have somehow made my days at work more solitary- I don't know if that's just my perception, or just the nature of this week's tasks. But my usual balance seems to be being preserved. I wonder if that means that my work life will be particularly social next week?

The sense given of one of the odder database entries that I found while addressing envelopes for a mass mailing (Name has Clearly been changed).

Steve (deceased) Jewish-last-Name
Address
City, State, Zip

Somehow this really amuses me. Maybe it's something to do with too much addressing of envelopes.
