It was a very good thing that Alexis was talking to Ruth Leah about forms for the Boston Festival with me around tonight- as far as I know, HaMakor hasn't done anything about that stuff, since Felicia usually does forms, and she's a bit too busy with an infant to think about it, and so no one else has been either. I should send out an email, and say, choose what songs we're doing. And then find another person/a few more people, and get choreographing. Ahh, one more thing to work on, and I just Can't seem to find music that fits a theme and works together well. I thought I had a good song, but it's a love song, not what I was hoping. Who thinks I can swing it as a G-d telling ISrael to return? (
tovah623 this is tachzor tachzor that you've been lending me) I wish- it would work rather nicely, end up with Judith's Jerusalem thing, which I should really find a way to listen to, and start off with something about suffering and galut (the diaspora/exile) or something like that. Hmm- I should check the words to Achai Bnei Teiman or something of the like. Suggestions?
Other than that, life goes on. Tomorrow night I have a surprise swing performance- nothing's choreographed, my partner and I still have to come up with a matching accent color: this is not going to be a well-planned performance. Hopefully it'll go ok at least. (OK, now we've got colors, based on the fact that he only has black and white. Makes it easy- it's a good thing I got that white scarf.)
