I have one of my term paper topics set now (for Jewish American Life)- neither of the ideas I started with quite worked for the class, but this new one really excites me: I'm going to be analyzing current creative/modern Jewish ritual. Expect enthusiasm ahead. I have a few general ideas for my other term paper (for Women in the Hebrew Bible), and hopefully I should get that one set tomorrow and get working. This of course neglects the paper due Monday, but that's shorter, and will probably just be an article analysis. WOuld be smart to work on it before Sunday- but somehow I'm not So sure that I will. It'll be a busy day, I'm guessing.

But luckily, I did my grocery shopping today- I found out that [livejournal.com profile] skyblue_dreamer was going shopping today, so I got to go with her and get a ride in the process. I also discovered that Stop and Shop flour is only about $0.60 more for 10 lbs than for 5lbs. So she and I are going to trade- she's got a smaller amount, and uses lots of flour, and I have no place to keep 10 lbs of flour. I Really don't understand how they make a profit that way, unless flour is just secretly ridiculously cheap. But the chance to shop and feel like I was doing a real shop rather than just random pieces of weird college food was pretty pleasing. I just wish that a. Stop and Shop lentils were heckshered- I'll have to get those another time, and that b. I'd remembered to buy mayonaise. Ahh well.
