You wouldn't think (or maybe you would) that there would be free washing machines on campus, about 14 hours before dorms close, when most of the student body has already gone home. Well, I thought so, and I was wrong. Checked machines: all busy. Returned about 35 minutes later: all busy again. (Cycle is about 25 minutes). Checking back in another 5 minutes. But by golly, it's frustrating.
I'm encountering that usual dilemma of the last night on campus when lots of people are gone already: I need to pack, ought to clean, a lot, should reorganize room now that I am mostly sans roommate, need to sleep, and both want to spend time with other people and dread the concept. So instead I'm babbling online. And feeling bad that I shall have to throw out milk, eggs, margarine and V8. Perhaps I should move other, non-perishable foodstuffs to a drawer. You know- so they're not stolen.
I'm ridiculously overtired, just from chronic sleep debt. As I was helping
zodiacmg pack, or at least keeping him company as he did so, we were talking and making very, very little sense. ANd giggling a lot. My plans for the first several days of break: sleep. SOmehow, the longer that I'm in college, the less sleep I get. I hope that doesn't continue through grad school, or I will cease all semblances of sleep altogether at some point.
Off to try to start my laundry again. May write more later...
