No, this wasn't the BORG auction- it was last week. (Although F Board somehow heard about the auction and rather than finding it problematic since we were selling things some of which had been originally bought with F Board money, they thought it was ingenious. Relieving, but a bit troubling in new ways- it makes me nervous somehow.)
But classes were as usual (although my group's verse in Aramaic was deceptively simple and actually theologically problematic: either there was an extra aleph thrown in randomly for kicks, or it was a third person Plural causitive, and that's messy for Genesis 2:1.), and then I got myself to work, and all went well for the first hour and a bit, and then chaos errupted. I don't know- controlling kids during an art project shouldn't be so hard, but it certainly was.
Then I got home, and found out there was a high council meeting at 6:30, so I scarfed a sauteed squash down and went to the meeting- I was late, but I was still the second one there, which is mildly annoying: I could have eaten a bit less rushedly. Oh well. And then we worked on doing an inventory of the BORG library, a nd it isn't finished, but it's a start. And I'm thinking of writing a short history/chronicle of BORG: if anyone has any good stories or info, send them this way...
