Dancing!

Just got back from dinner out with [livejournal.com profile] zodiacmg and then MIT's all-couples-dances night that they do once a year (we didn't go last year: between transport issues and BORG, it wasn't worth it), which ran much later than the flyer advertized. We left around midnight, when the flyer said it would run until 11 (not that I believed that...), and there were still a few couples dancing when we left. And we got back with only one need to turn around, and a small amount of confusion. [livejournal.com profile] zodiacmg is truly an impressive reader-of-maps (a skill at which I am rather atrocious, although I'm ever-so-slowly getting better at it). We definitely ended up (just before we turned around) at the place where we started to get lost two years ago with Steve, at which point we were lost for about an hour and 45 minutes before getting back to Brandeis. (We also passed one place I was lost with my parents, I think while trying to do college visits, going between Brandeis and Tufts or vice versa, and I think also the place I was lost when I went to the Acura dealership for that car check-up.) And now I think I have an idea of how to get to the Arsenal Mall, should that end up being useful. (Now watch it not be useful, ever.)

But minyan is in less than 7 hours, so off to sleep go I.

I've Given In.... Aka Meme

Lizarded from [livejournal.com profile] carnilius, [livejournal.com profile] belu and [livejournal.com profile] arib (his protests to the contrary), none of whom, interestingly enough, know each other at all, as far as I know.

THe not-quite-meme involves going to this link and clicking terms that describe me, and seeing how well they match the ones I picked.

The funky thing about it is that a bunch of the words are very similar in meaning...

Edit: I have editted this thing for stupid but relevant spelling mistakes 3 times now. I believe this is a new high, or perhaps I should say low. But I'm now on vacation- no Friday classes, and I'm heading home sometime tomorrow, which seems to mean tomorrow morning.
