My cold grew into a mostly-lost voice over Shabbos, which made things rather unpleasant. I got through dinner pretty reasonably, but slept in rather than going to shul in the morning, went to lunch and acquired a headache afterwards so I went home again right afterwards rather than going to the shiur being given as I'd hoped to do. So- not the world's most ideal Shabbat. And Saturday night we watched movie-ish things, that being a nice activity that requires no speaking.
My voice is somewhat recovered today: it sounds almost normal as long as I don't speak for very long. After a short bit, I return to sort of hoarse croaking. So I've been continuing to drink tea most of the day. But between that and the fact that I've generally been able to breathe through at least one nostril all day, I'm counting it as a definite improvement.
I went to see the BORG play earlier this afternoon, which was quite amusing, although it lost something from my not having been involved in its preparations at all.
Now off to try to convince myself that feeling rather better means that I ought to be able to accomplish all sorts of work this afternoon and evening.
