In attempt to drive to my planned birthday party today, my car refused to start. So the folks around here had cake and hung out a bit here, and I'll have to see the other folks on another, or several other occasion. It was, well, frustrating. And now tomorrow I'll have to deal with bringing the car to the dealership, and either waiting for it, if it's a slow day, or taking the bus home and hoping they can have it ready before I have to be back at work on Thursday. If not- well, I'm going to have to live on public transit or something, because I doubt there's Any reasonable way to get from here to Framingham by 8:30 AM. Wish me luck.

I went down to the car to give it one more try at starting before I called AAA and the car dealership (where I've had it fixed before, at Dad's instructions) to get it fixed, and it started with no problems, on the first try. As long as it keeps it up, all should be swell. Something like this happened over the winter, and Dad said it's happened a few times before that. Go figure. I guess that particular birthday party was just not meant to be.
