Argh

I tried to call the financial aid office of JTS to ask a couple of questions. I imagine that it would have been a 5-10 minute conversation, maximum, had I been able to reach someone. I was told that someone would call me back shortly: they were at lunch (it was 1:40). THe office is open only frtom 10-3, except on Friday when it's open 10-2: so I can't imagine that people should be taking terribly long lunches. However, at 2:45, I had still not received a call back. So I called again: and someone hung up on me without even answering the phone. So I figured that maybe it was a mistake, so I called again and got an answering machine message. I left a message. And I have just emailed also. It's now 3:00, so I doubt they will get back to me today. If they don't call by around 11 tomorrow, I believe that I will call again.

Oh, and my cell phone has been sort of iffy about charging. And there's still no work at work, which may be helping me deal with this situation. There's some tiny chance that there will be work tomorrow, and a better chance that there will be work on Monday. Hopefully I can deal with this stuff by then.

Turns out the JTS financial aid office is There 9-5, they just only take calls 10-3: the head of the financial aid office just called me back, and things are spiffy. Phew. So much less anxiety than I'd originally had.
