The plans for today were to do work in the morning, and go to the Brush treasure hunt at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the first part of the afternoon, then back for more homework until dancing. However, I got a couple of calls from Steve (my RD, except he's effectively my RA, since Brush is entirely too small to need more than one person on Reslife staff: there are only something like 26 of us) saying that I was the only one who had said I was coming (odd, as when I told him I was coming, there were two other people, but I guess they decided against it), and I could come, he'd be there to see if anyone else showed without an RSVP, but well- it might be just me. So I wasn't sure what I was doing- until I got another call saying that he wasn't going to go even to see if anyone showed, as the marathon had the way to get there pretty darn clogged, and he has issues with crowds. So I suddenly had a whole bunch of time that I've used very ineffectively. I still have work that isn't done. And theoretically I want to make a bread pudding, and I did go grocery shopping so I have the ingredients for it now (besides the several partially-eaten challot that are hanging around on a shelf which are the reasons for the bread pudding). So- homework, and then we'll see what time it is, and if there's time to make bread pudding before dancing. Otherwise it'll happen later this week.
