Taking Advantage of Christmas

So I've taken advantage of the fact that Christmas means that my parents had the day off to come home for a day to hang out. So I got up, got ready and headed out a little on the late side this morning and got to CT right around noon. We mostly just hung out, Mom, Dad, myself and one of Mom's college friends. She's not the friend of Mom's whom I've historically been the most comfortable or close with (nor is she the one I've been least comfortable with), but I've really enjoyed having her around today. I think I went into it with an attitude of "she's basically family", and it worked quite well. So we talked, I napped, we had a fire in the fire place, Dad and I made blintzes, and we watched a movie. And now everyone else is asleep, as usually ends up happening when I'm here.
