I am semi-officially into JTS's pre-rab program. I had a "preliminary discussion" with R. Savenor this afternoon, and he told me that I'm in- I'll be getting the actual letter in about 4 weeks, since he just sends them out at once, but that I'm in- that if I really want the letter, he would send it earlier. So I know I'm into something (and something that is probably my first choice for next year at that). He seemed to have a good idea of where I'm coming from, and was all for having me take a class or two at the graduate school if my Hebrew scores were good enough to be able to skip a semester of Hebrew or something- so I could get a feel for the difference, and what I want. (And it would give me those credits to transfer/have if I ended up in grad school at JTS, too.) Very exciting.

*chuckles* Could be worse- I might still apply to Drisha (maybe, if it seems really worthwhile- but I'm kind of lazy). That's even more G-d, even less academic restriction...

Congrats! It's comforting to know that *somebody* in our year knows what's going on after graduation. :)

Mazal tov!

You've got a nice, bright spark in there. It's wonderful that your path is taking you to places where you can let it shine.
