Being on campus sans regular minyanim is confusing. I'm making both dinner and lunch, but odn't know what times, if any, there will be davenen, or where. Chabad is having davenen at 6:30 tonight, but they're run over, and I odn't think I can keep the hot food hot that long if candlelighting is at 5:11- usually we'd be back to eat around 6:30 or 6:45, and I don't have a crockpot or the like, so...

And in the morning, they may be trying to make an orthodox minyan, but whether or not they'd look askance if I showed up with tallit (considering that it'll be a hodgepodge minyan, and Egal won't be having one) or not, I don't know. IF they would mind, should I suck it up and daven with them, or walk into town and daven at Temple Beth Israel? If the latter, what am I supposed to do about my lunch guests who will then get out of davenen earlier than I will, without considering the walk back home from shul? I should go start cooking, but I'm waiting for [livejournal.com profile] zodiacmg to get back to answer some questions/finish discussing meal times.
