What does it mean that my last remembered dream was about someone coming by at morning minyan and telling me that my tfillah shel rosh wasn't in the right place, and then as I tried to fix it, it got stuck on my hair clips, and I just couldn't get it in the right place?

I think it means you feel pressured by the craziness and newness right now, and it's making you feel off-kilter and not-quite-right.... and you're trying to get to a more comfortable place.... Hang in there. and feel better!

I discovered that washing my (longish) hair at night is far more convenient when I started donning tefillin.
