At the dance event last night, I actually had a conversation with Steve, the dance teacher from home (and the assistant teacher or whatever at the Y). We don't usually talk much... But I guess since I don't come to the Y, he was supposed to or something. But in relation to this dance Yalla that was playing (it looks pretty pointless), he was talking about how this stuff in Arabic is what the people want now, and how you need to keep up with the times- but he seemed pretty bummed about it... It was a little strange.
