I was just looking at the Victoria Secret catalog, online. This is frightening. Ok- I was looking at a pair of pajama bottoms as potential costumes to be put over a black leotard as we pretend to be sheaves of wheat and then non-gender-specific brothers. Nevertheless, that catalog is just frightening.

Jeff Foxworthy put it best: Victoria doesn't have too many secrets left.

What always surprises me is that if you look carefully enough past the $10,000 diamond thong, they do sell actual pajamas and such that are quite comfortable and high-quality and surprisingly non-ridiculous.

Oh I know. But just the notion of me looking at a Victoria's Secret catalog was what was most scary, besides that some of the things I saw while trying to find the thing I was told to look at looked, well- more like evening-wear than nightclothes.

Brothers? Genders? Wheat? Did the stuff cost a lot of money? I could buy a brother..

Re: Doc Martin

Sorry- that's all stuff for the Israeli Dance performance group I'm in, and am choreographing for this year. We're doing a suite (ok, 3 short songs) of Joseph stories. So we have people who are supposed to be dancing wheat, and then later they become Joseph's brothers. We're doing the depressing-ending thing, which is uncommon in IFD performances that I've seen- we're ending with Joseph in the pit, being sold off into slavery in Egypt. Sorry- no sex changes or other real excitement. Just women in tan costumes of some sort.

I've always wondered what it would be like to have a brother of any sort- I have a younger sister, and that's it.
