It was only mostly empty: there were a couple little piecs of rice in it, and there was a clump of rice on the floor.

Oh, and it wasn't just in the bathroom, it was in the stall.

I do indeed have hall-bathrooms. Mine is, conveniently, right near my room. However it does mean the mysterious materialization of things like take-out containers, on occasion.
