After that whole kvetchy-body business, I did the smartest thing I could- slept all afternoon and had a whole bunch of hot herbal tea. That rather took care of things.

Other than that, there was the interesting factor of doing a Flash Gordon reading at BORG when over half the high council was either ill or getting over something, whether something big or little. But we had 2 Very hoarse high council members, and I was still making sure that the dizziness wasn't going to make another reappearance, plus our somewhat perpetually ill King of Pentacles. THe meeting went well, and we now have a cast (and I have successfully stepped down the size of my Flash Gordon role), so that should provide amusement. It was funny to hear how much some of the readings by people who definitely never heard the recording or rehearsals of the first time we did Episode 1 ended up with very similar intonations and character presentations as the ones I first heard. It hit some strange nostalgia buttons somehow, even though that was only the year before last. (Which somehow sounds much closer than two years ago. I don't know why. ALso much less confusing.)

Very minor bafflement: what to do in responding to correspondance when someone is rather anxious to receive your reply soonest, but there are other letters that have been waiting from before- to which do you respond first?
As it turns out, I had time to get to both, so it wasn't a worry, but in general- does waiting-time or impatience come first? I'd Say the former, but often tend to act on the latter. I tend to think that this is jsut because I'm a push-over.
