As I do my last minute Pesach cleaning... Me to Tatiana (my CA):
Me: "WOuld you like a bottle of soda?"
Tatiana: "Why?" (Confused)
Me: "Because I can't own it as of tomorrow"
Tatiana: "why?" (more confused)
Me: "Passover"
Tatiana: "Sure. Have a nice break." (cheerful, but probably still confused)
belu See? It isn't just you...
Speaking thereof, he and I found the infamous "Duck Feeding and Parking Area"- unfortunately I did not have a duck to park, but we did see some other parked ducks, and some swans.
ALso, due to the amount of apples I've been eating microwaved with cinnamon and sugar of late (trying to use up my food in general, and I also just had a lot of apples) my room smells pleasantly of baked apples and soap. The soap isn't from the apples (just to forestall confusion)- it's from my cleaning.
DOn't remember if I mentioned that yesterday when I was reading torah I kept getting stuck in other people's trope- especially their sofei pasuk, which was Very confusing. That hadn't happened to me before. I hope it doesn't happen again soon- I felt like I was constantly stumbling over my reading, even when I had no questions about what I was doing.
After midday tomorrow, I'll be at Bleama's until Thursday morning, and then home.

Before retiring as gabbai I had aspirations of doing a full aliyah, with each aliyah in a different minyanaire's trope. Alas, it never happened.

its up there with the rule in baseball that allows a batter to steal first base after he strikes out if the catcher drops the ball.
there are just some things that are beautiful en soi.
