I Think My Window is Swell

I was just looking out the window in my room (for those of you who haven't seen it, it's large, and right over my bed, and totally not insulated, so I pretty much keep the shade down all the time lately- but I occasionally pick up the shade and put my head under it to see out) at the snow, and the people walking around in it. There was one guy just walking, and this other group of 4 mysteriously-gendered individuals who were walking up and down the steps and putting their hands up/out. Between the hand positions, the wind and blowing/falling snow and their long, blowing coats, it looked like some sort of ecstatic religious experience. I doubt it is- they're probably just playing. But in my imagination, especially coupled with the blowing of the wind outside, and the heating (if you can call it that, in my room) blowing inside, with no other sound to contribute, and somehow it was mystic-looking. Funny how one can attribute a completely made-up set of experiences to people who are, as far as I know, complete strangers. And yet it fit this script for a wonderful, inspirational religious/spiritual experience. I collect that sort of thing: I'm interested to see how this one will fit.

And now I'm off to try eating/watch people eating, flavored snow. They're collecting snow, I'm contributing some cinnamon and that's about it, and then it shall be bedtime. Heck, it's already bedtime. But I will now have a short but official Social Experience- so my 1950's influenced self won't feel like I had a wasted Saturday night (although my reclusive intellectual self had a very pleasing evening).

I could be wrong, but I think those people were probably Sarah Singer, Phil, Lynn, and another Lynn, all of whom had decided to go frolic in the snow. Sam Dewey decided to join them, so he might have been the guy by himself. (It also could have been Adam—I'm not positive of what time it was when they were outside.)

Sorry to ruin your experience ;-)

It's ok. Even knowing who those people probably were somehow doesn't line up with my perception. The guy by himself seemed utterly unrelated to the other folks- so I doubt it was either of those gentlemen: he was walking to X lot, or Ziv somewhere. Even if it was those folks, I still have this really neat scene in my memory.

But thanks.
