Packing

Am writing a ton today because my brain has nothing to do while I'm packing but think random thoughts, some elucidating, many dumb.

However, I'm noticing exactly how much of my stuff is hand-me-downs of various sorts: my grandmother's old pots, some tablecloths from my great-grandma, shirts that have made the rounds between Mom, Em and I, etc. Some people I know furnish their apartments via midnight auto. I seem to be furnishing my via midnight attic.

I've got lots of kitchen hand-me-downs too and I don't even have a kitchen yet. I've got a whole set of beautiful dishes from my grandmother who just passed away. And when I actually have a kitchen, I'll probably take some of my other grandmother's as well.

It's good. Saves money. Good luck. You're in grad this year right?
