Got here safely, and shall be here through Sunday. So far, things are going pretty well over all. Otherwise life is occupied with odd paperwork for Brandeis, as my paperwork for registering for my senior thesis got vanished, and now I have to petition for a late add (of a class). Not terrible, but a pain and somewhat nervewracking, although the lady who takes care of these thigns seems quite nice and her response to something I said was one of my father's common lines after telling stories about rough situations at work- "this is why I make the big bucks": it was oddly reassuring to hear. So- here I am, and we'll see what happens.

One of the highs of the day was actually seeling shirei_shibolim for a little bit after not seeing him for about a year and a half...

Interestingly enough I was really happy to see this entry since you had missed class today (and a quiz) which I thought was unlike you and I'm happy to hear that all is well. My first thought when you didn't show up today was that it must be some Jewish holiday that I hadn't heard of but you were skipping for :). Enjoy your weekend!
