I just got an email offering an interview for an internship at another museum (either at the museum or doing work with oral histories in a Jewish museum in Mississpippi), this one for longer, but actually paid- $1700, but then less rent and food bills. And it would start June 2- talk about quick turn around time. We'll see if I get it- I should be interviewing soon. If I do- I'd have to find a flight I guess, figure out other travel stuff, and pretty much go, go go- and tell the lady from the unpaid internship that I ended up with something that paid. I feel sort of bad about that- but well, it's kind of logical. Shall ahve to call home about this. It isn't much money, but at least I won't end up losing money on it, I hope. Not really Making any money either though. Whereas if I can get a job after the otehr internship, I *might* make some money. But I might not actually find a job either. Which, by early July, would be fairly likely. So... Ergh- it would likely mean (unless I flew) that I wouldn't be able to get to [livejournal.com profile] zachkessin's wedding. I suppose I could fly, if I could find a cheap flight. I should really look into flight costs. This from me, who hasn't been on a plane since 7th grade. Wow.

I really hope you can make it to the wedding, domestic flights in the summer or usually pretty cheap. As for mississippi find out what the Jewish community is like there. You could be pretty lonely down there.

As for flights try http://travel.yahoo.com they are pretty good as I recall.

I hope I can make it too, believe me. As for Jewish community- it's a Jewish museum- something like the museum of the Southern Jewish Experience.
