Accidents Waiting To Happen

I've seen 4 people biking on campus without helmets today. I shudder at the number of accidents just waiting to happen.

Those aren't just accidents waiting to happen- those are Major brain injuries waiting to happen.

Technically, the accidents aren't any more likely; the consequences are just likely to be more severe. I like to think of it as evolution in action.

However, the guy at my local bike shop told me that he's having a hard time getting helmets to stock, because so many people are buying them that the suppliers are only barely keeping up.
