The car once again would not start after work today. So I called AAA, and when they arrived, the car started, albeit with slight complaint, and they advised taking it right to the dealership. So I did, and they'll try and squeeze it in tomorrow, but may well not get to it until Monday or so. So tomorrow for sure and maybe Monday (although they may be able to get me a loaner car for Monday) I'll be shlepping the very long way to work: basically all the way into Boston just to go all the way back out. It could be worse- but this is still a pain, especially in the morning, where the schedules don't like up as well or something. Tomorrow is going to be a Very long day, and I will have quite a bit less time for Shabbat preparations than usual. It's a good thing that Chabad is having dinner so we only have to worry about making lunch and what to eat for Seudah Shlishit or such. I hope Monday doesn't have to be a similar ordeal. I'll need to be out of the house by 6:20 or 6:40 tomorrow morning. Not as early as for Tuesday, but not for anything close to as pleasant a reason either. Maybe I can nap a little on the train or something. Certainly I think that breakfast will happen on the train.
