I really wish I had my recorder with me here. I'd really like to sit down and just play it for a while. But as far as I can tell, the usual one, and all the others are living in Connecticut right now. I guess I'll have to settle for listening to some, once I listen to my Hebrew homework another few times.

Agreed.

How about the Perils of Having Stuff in different Countries?

My boyfriend keeps on shlepping extra stuff for me that I couldn't bring to Sweden. I could only bring 20 k's, which is ridiculous for a year! I really, really, really miss my seforim. It's a pain in the backside with looking up Halacha l'maaseh stuff for the chagim because I don't have my seforim with me. I just brought clothes, 2 siddurim (Sim Shalom and Artscroll), a JPS Tenach and my tallit and tefillin. I even left my winter boots behind, and worse - a Chumash commentary! And boyfriend had to take some stuff with him. Luckily, I also have my Nargilah/Hookah now, which will be a life-saver during Sweden's cold winter nights.

Yeah, it sucks not having your own personal stuff with you. Especially when you get an urge or a craving for it.

Eep, that sounds really rough. It must be like living in a hotel all year or something. Although I worry for you getting everything back after spending a year acquiring stuff that you need...

How would a hookah help on cold nights?
