Oops

I just took a shower- and didn't realize until I was already in and wet that I'd forgotten to take my kippah off. I've made that mistake before with my glasses and my watch, and certainly earrings many, many times over- but never before my headcovering, I don't think. So there's a new one for the

Hee. New one for something alright. :)

I've gotten in with my underwear on on occasion. The other day I actually turned the shower on while I was cleaning it and fully clothed. It was kind of awesome. And damp.

I'm sure your kippah needs occasional cleaning. GOOD EXCUSE.

Hehehe. This is famous actually. Stepping into the shower with a kippah.

Never happened to me b/c my headcoverings are too big. But then again, I struggle with tzitzit and the toilet. Oy!

I've done that. (Never in the miqwe, though.)

I think that's one of the checkmarks for the newly frum -- meaning that you've become so adjusted to wearing head-covering that it's become second nature. (Mine happened back when I wore the fake-leather kippot. Yuck!)

But only the first time -- from now on you have to be extra careful!

Shabbat Shalom.

I did that once at camp... I got half-way across the swimming pool before I heard Smiley yell "Katie, you're still wearing your Kippah!" ...oops I don't think it got terribly wet, though running back to the bunk in slippery wet flip flops was interesting...

I almost always remember to check.

But it is still a semi-regular occurence. Oh well. Kippahs need showers sometimes, too! Plus, it is always a funny happening.

I do that from time to time, generally it means that I am *VERY* tired. On a plus side I generally wear the knit kippot, so it doesn't hurt them really.
