Silly Mistake

I just went grocery shopping- and left my keys in my room. Talk about a mix of anxiety and humiliation, having to go to security and have them call maintenance to let me in- the anxiety coming from worrying that, it being a holiday, they'd have all left already. Thank goodness someone was still around. All's well that ends well- but ugh, what a lousy couple of minutes.

Don't feel bad, I do that at least once or twice a semester... not that I don't have a small panic attack everytime I do it.. but you shouldn't think you're th e only one :)

I used to do that all the time. Then I started living in places that couldn't lock behind me. (Well, if I managed to get all the way out of the building, it would lock behind me. But that would mean that I had not only forgotten my keys but forgotten to lock my apartment door, since I can't do that without my keys.. And my keys are hung about six inches from the door, to make them hard to forget.)
