Excitement/Bragging

Today was a very quiet chance to just hang around and vegetate for a while, with one exception. I checked my email this evening and found an email from my adviser at school letting me know that I received a merit scholarship that will pay for my tuition and a stipend for the next two years. I'm pretty darned excited and rather proud- it's something that will be a big help for me, and it is certainly plenty flattering to know that my academics are worth something to my current institution as well. So, here's my moment where I brag briefly, and then I'll stop bringing it up.
